Mercury (Artistic Director). Mercury has been involved in all aspects of theatre and film for
over 20 years. Originally from Hawaii, Mercury spent 18 years in Manhattan plying his craft
before coming to Georgia. Having been on several national tours, Mercury has performed or
worked in over 600 theatres across the United States and in Europe. Locally he has
performed or worked at Atlanta Symphony Hall, The Ferst Center for the Arts, Southwest Arts
Center, Variety Playhouse, Horizon Theater, The Strand, Seven Stages, Theatre Decatur,
Theatre Gael, Jewish Theatre of the South, GSU Alumni Hall Theatre, Synchronicity, Atlanta
Lyric Theatre, Ballethnic Dance Company, Academy of Cinema and Television, Kudzu
Playhouse and the Cumming Playhouse. Mercury continues to work across the country
bringing theatre to life.
Danielle Gustaveson (Managing Director) Danielle brings to Gypsy 11 years as a company
manager and 20+ years of an artistic background in painting and Interior Design. Her children’
s murals can be seen at Cumming Family Medicine, The Drake House in Roswell and many
nurseries and playrooms. Raised in Europe, Danielle has made Cumming her home since
1996 (via Chicago) where she brings her unique vision and skills to the fore. After having
ventured onstage from “offstage” 3 years ago, she fell in love with the spotlight, and is now
looking forward to the business from the other side of the stage. Having lived in Cumming for
so many years she is excited to be giving something back to the community in the form of art
with Gypsy Theatre Company.
