Non-equity. WHEN: March 19th & 20th (Tues & Wed) 7:00-10:00 PM Callbacks will be March 23rd 10:00am to Noon if necessary. WHERE: The Cumming Playhouse, 101 School St., Cumming, GA 30040. WHAT: Please bring a Headshot/Resume. If you do not have a headshot, please bring a recent photo. No appointment necessary—please be prepared to stay and read a few times. Audition will consist of cold readings from the script. PLEASE NOTE: Stage Combat experience a plus (but not necessary). WHO: (Blind casting employed--any race/gender/age welcome. The action embarks from the Admiral Benbow Inn, where Jim Hawkins, a young boy who longs for adventure, falls heir to a treasure map. He soon sails to seek the treasure island and his fortune. Along the way we encounter a host of legendary swashbucklers including the dangerous Billy Bones, the sinister two-timing Israel Hands, the brassy woman pirate Anne Bonney, the hideous form of evil incarnate, Blind Pew, and the infamous Long John Silver-- perhaps the most famous hero-villain of all time. Silver is an unscrupulous buccaneer- rogue whose greedy quest for gold, coupled with his affection for Jim, cannot help but win the heart of every soul who has ever longed for romance, treasure and adventure.
